The special, early-bird cost for the Mid-South BEDC is $525. The deadline for early-bird registration is March 7, 2012, by which time a completed registration form must be received, along with arrangement of full payment. Only a limited number of seats are available so please register as soon as possible. Registrations will be accepted on a space-available basis after March 7, 2012, but the fee for registration after this date is $575, and a completed registration form must be received no later than March 21, 2012.

Refunds for cancellation must be requested in writing. A full refund (less a $50 processing fee) is given for refund requests received prior to March 7, 2011.  A partial refund of $250 is given for refund requests received by March 20, 2012. After March 20, 2012, no cancellation refund is given. However, substitutions are allowed for applicants who must cancel, provided the original registrant gives notice by March 23, 2012 and the substitute submits a completed registration form by the time of the on-site registration March 26, 2012.

Full or partial scholarships for registration are available to Arkansas residents. See “Sponsors and Scholarships” for additional details.

IEDC publishes a manual called “Introduction to Economic Development.” The manual is available to Mid-South BEDC participants at a reduced price of $30. You may order a copy by including this additional charge with your registration fee. (See “Registration Form.”) The manual is an excellent supplement to the course, and it is required for those who intend to sit for the CEcD certification exam in the future.
