On-Line Economic Development Institute (EDI) Training

In an on-line instructional format partnership with the Economic Development Institute, this series of courses provides both basic and advanced practices in economic development for the practitioner in conducting an effective economic development program in their community. Key topics include marketing, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, economic development finance, business retention and expansion, and other programs which will be offered as the curriculum grows.  This nationally-recognized program provides a new pathway for candidates seeking their CEcD certification in economic development through EDI.
