This year's host hotel is the newly renovated Crowne Plaza Little Rock “The Place To Meet,� located at 201 S. Shackleford Road adjacent to I-430 & I-630 (ask the hotel for specific directions). Reservations may be made by contacting the Crowne Plaza at (888) 303-1753 (toll-free) or by visiting their website at WWW.CROWNEPLAZALITTLEROCK.COM. Be sure to mention the UALR Institute for Economic Advancement (IEA) and Mid-South BEDC when you call in order to get the special rate of $109 for the Traditional Rooms. Club Floor rooms are also available for $119 which includes breakfast and other amenities. Priority deadline is February 23rd, 2009 for hotel special rate. The hotel is 4.7 miles (approximately 8 minutes) West of the UALR campus. The hotel provides airport shuttle service in addition to shuttle service within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. The Mid-South BEDC will provide shuttle service to and from the Crowne Plaza as needed.
